Correct Inflation Pressure

Improper inflation pressure has the following adverse effects:

  • Abnormal wear of tyres results in a shorter lifespan
  • As a result, tyres are more susceptible to damage from road hazards
  • It also reduces the grip on the contact patch of the tyre
  • Rolling with low air pressure reduces resistance and life span of a tyre
  • It also has an adverse effect on fuel efficiency

*The consequences of rolling at low pressure may not be evident immediately and can appear even after correction

*The contact patch of a bike tyre with proper inflation pressure is roughly equivalent to the size of a credit card.

Never fit tyre in the wrong direction. It can have adverse effects on tyre performance.
